Who would call the shots? With all the wrestlers (except for the 10 wrestlers signed from the WWF) owning shares in the company, what would be done if a wrestler wasn't performing. It was eventually agreed that an independent booker would be brought in, and would control all storylines, titles and pushes in the interest of fairness. He or She would also have the ability to fire a wrestler and terminate their contract, although this would not effect their stocks in anyway and would be a totally seperate matter. Hogan was not pleased with this, as from Day 1 he thought he would be in charge of everything, that it would be HIS promotion. However he was outnumbered and forced to agree to the new rules. ECW first considered Paul Heyman for the job, but many of the older wrestlers were against his 'Hardcore' style. It was decided to bring in a relatively unknown promoter with some new ideas. After handpicking several candidates for the job, the wrestlers held a vote to decide who would get it, and the vote was of course won by YOU. It's up to you what to do with this 'new' ECW. You have to shape an over-sized, over-payed roster with a huge wage bill into a promotion that can beat ever strong WWF in the ratings war. Will you put on shows similar to the 'old' ECW? or will you try and beat the WWF at their own game? maybe you will do what lot of the older wrestlers want you to do and go back to the 80's/early 90's 'Cartoon' style aimed at children? It's up to you. You have 30 million to start with, although with a wage bill this big you'll need every Penny of it. Good Luck

It seemed like Vince Mcmahon and the WWF had total control of the wrestling business. The WWF had bought out WCW, ECW had gone bankrupt and the WWF was finally getting it's ratings back up with an 'Invasion' angle involving all three Companies. Many wrestlers were not happy with the situation. If the WWF didn't sign them, there was nowhere else to go apart from small Indy Feds like XPW or CZW. Many wrestlers were talented and deserved to be in the WWF, but were ignored because of Personal Differences with Vince Mcmahon or others within the WWF. This all changed when Hulk Hogan, who had spoken out against Vince and the WWF on many occasions, recruited Macho Man Randy Savage, Goldberg and Kevin Nash and convinced them all to combine their money and set up a Promotion. These 4 men became the driving force of this new Promotion. Even with all their money, these 4 alone did not have nearly enough money to set up the promotion, so they set about recruiting every ex-WWF, ex-WCW, and ex-ECW wrestler they could find. They done everything they could to convince other wrestlers to join the group and invest their money in the promotion, often lying and making up stories about WWF staff mocking the wrestlers and saying they would never wrestle in the WWF again. Although some refused to join, a large roster was assembled, consisting of many former WWF and WCW wrestlers past their prime and looking for one more shot at the big time aswell as a few younger stars. They soon realised that to take on the WWF they needed a recognisable and respected brand name to bring in the ratings. They saw that the WWF had been using the ECW trademarks and logos on their programming and giving ECW more publicity than it ever had when it was in business. The new Promotion used their combined money to buy the unowned ECW trademarks, logos, video libraries and all other ECW properties. They then payed off all debts owed by the company. This move shocked the wrestling industry, forced the WWF to stop using the WWF trademarks and logos, as well as attracting the interest of several TV stations and sponsors. After some tough negotiating by Kevin Nash, ECW landed a lucrative Sponshorship Deal aswell as a TV deal to broadcast two TV shows a week, on Monday and Wednesday Nights. While the wrestlers put the finishing touches and prepared for the first show, Hogan and Nash decided that it would be wise to try and sign the 10 WWF wrestlers that formed the ECW stable in the WWF's 'Invasion' Angle, as this would tie in with the WWF's story and attract WWF fans, plus the 10 wrestlers had all been fan favourites in the old ECW and would attract old ECW fans, many of whom thought this new ECW would be a watered down imitation of the old ECW, especially with the old-school influence of the likes of Hogan, to the new shows. The WWF realised they would save face by selling the wrestlers to ECW as they now had to stop using the ECW trademarks and logos on their shows which would leave the 10 wrestlers with no angle and them suddenly becoming WCW wrestlers rather than ECW wrestlers in the 'Invasion' Storyline. The WWF realised their ECW stable 'defecting' would make more sense then ECW suddenly disapearing from the storyline. ECW had to pay a HUGE amount of money to buy out
the 10 contracts, but it was worth it when on WWF's Raw programme, Commentator Jim Ross stated that ECW had broken off their Alliance with WCW and left to start running their own promotion again, which essentially meant the WWF were giving publicity to their new rivals.
Paul Heyman soon followed and left the WWF for ECW when his contract expired. This attracted more fans of the old ECW, who believed Heymans influence would mean the new ECW would be similar to the old. ECW was finally ready to return except for onJKZ[ghqrz{ý{uoic]WQ]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc()89HIJ	ý{uoic]WQ]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bcwx()*=>?no|ý{uoic]WQ]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc]a	bc|}~]a	bc]a	bc 	@ANOCQ_`K[hr{!)9IJ	x)*>?o}!}~~~v -K@Normala	"A@"Default Paragraph Font@
